Gaetano has over 20 years of experience as an investor and entrepreneur. Before joining Vi Partners – a well-known Swiss VC and our lead investor in the last financing round – as a partner in 2023, Gaetano worked for 15 years in Mergers & Acquisitions in London. He was also the founder of an alternative asset manager focused on environmental investments. He has worked with a number of European blue chip companies, sovereign wealth funds and leading private equity firms, advising on acquisition strategies, strategic financings and divestment programs. Most recently, Gaetano held C-level positions in strategy, business development and asset management at leading Swiss financial institutions. Gaetano holds an MBA from IMD Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  

In addition to his professional achievements, Gaetano is an avid mountaineer, surfer and gastronome. When not hunting for new startups, peaks or waves, he can usually be found in Canton Vaud spending time with his wife, two teenage sons and multiple house animals.
